Replacing the old strategic planning by a new approach is not an original quote, is it?
Take a look at this scene: Each 3-5 years we gather everybody (really? no, not everybody actually) for an off-site place, far away from the headquarters, and plan our strategy for the next years.
Guilty! Many times I have participated in those events. And, won’t lie, I still do. BUT, nowadays when hired to doing so, we at Stratega always present a different mode of strategizing.
Begining with a Journey, whatever the time we have to accomplish it (days, weeks), we take the opportunity to put together a group of elements that provide a system to enable the ongoing journey. It is possible. And very effective.
