My Books
Strategy is the discipline of victory.
It is a way of thinking, deciding, and living.
We make choices every day under conditions of uncertainty. We face limited resources, competing priorities, incomplete information, and an unpredictable future. In other words, we face strategy.
This publication explores strategy not simply as a management tool, but as a way of understanding reality and acting deliberately in the world.
Here you’ll find essays that connect philosophy with practice, ideas with action, and reflection with decision-making. Sometimes we will discuss organizations, competition, innovation, or leadership. At other times, we will explore judgment, learning, curiosity, and the habits that shape strategic lives.
My goal is simple: to help develop better strategic thinkers, not only better managers.

About me
I’m Tiago Grandi, a strategist, advisor, professor, and author.
For more than two decades, I’ve worked at the intersection of strategy, innovation, leadership, and transformation, advising executives, teaching future leaders, and helping organizations navigate uncertainty.
My work combines academic inquiry with practical experience because I believe the best strategic ideas are those that survive contact with reality.
I have written books on strategy, innovation, and management, and I continue to research and teach the philosophy and practice of strategy.
A final thought
Strategy is often reduced to planning.
I believe it is something much broader.
It is the discipline of making meaningful choices under uncertainty.
It is the art of aligning thought with action.
Ultimately, it is a way of engaging with the world.
If these ideas resonate with you, I hope you’ll join the conversation.
